How it works
- 1
Carriers publish trucks
Persistent truck profiles with current status and upcoming availability windows. The carrier controls what is shown.
- 2
Freight discovers capacity
Brokers and shippers search trucks by area, equipment and date, then reach the carrier directly with a structured inquiry.
- 3
Relationships keep it moving
Follow and connect with the carriers you work with. Connected carriers can share their availability with you first.
Built around trucks, not just loads.
Everything starts with real capacity — where trucks are, where they'll be, and who you trust to move your freight.
Persistent truck & fleet profiles
Carriers keep every truck on file — equipment, capacity and capabilities — and choose exactly what is published. Unit numbers and drivers stay private.
Current and future availability
Show a truck as available now, or post upcoming windows (“empty near Memphis tomorrow”). Freshness labels and reminders keep availability honest.
Capacity discovery
Brokers and shippers search trucks by equipment, area, radius and date — in a list or on an area map. Locations are approximate, at city level.
Carrier Network
Follow carriers you work with, connect with them mutually, and see their trucks and availability updates in one place.
Direct inquiries & messaging
Send a structured inquiry to a specific truck and work it out directly with the carrier's team. Every conversation stays tied to the truck.
Targeted capacity sharing
Carriers send a truck's availability to the connected companies they choose, with a note. Recipients can open the truck or message the carrier.
Freight listings remain as a supporting feature: brokers and shippers can post loads, and carriers can search them and reply directly.
Carrier Network
Your carriers, connected.
The carriers you rely on shouldn't disappear between loads. FR8UP keeps them — and their trucks — one tap away.
Follow
Keep a carrier in your network and see their published trucks. Following is private — carriers only see it if you choose to tell them.
Connect
Send a connection request to a company you've worked with. Once they accept, you're mutually connected. Either side can disconnect or block at any time.
Receive availability updates
Connected carriers choose who gets their updates — in-app notices when their availability changes, and trucks they share with you directly.
One marketplace, three sides.
For carriers
Keep your trucks in front of the right freight.
- Publish a truck once; update status and location in a tap
- Post future availability so freight finds you before you're empty
- Decide which connections get your availability updates
- Assign dispatchers to trucks; they work under your company
- Share open capacity with the brokers and shippers you trust
For brokers
Find the truck, then keep the relationship.
- Search available-now and coming-soon capacity by area and equipment
- Follow carriers privately and mark your preferred ones
- Request mutual connections and see your network's trucks first
- Send structured inquiries tied to a specific truck and window
- Post freight listings when you'd rather carriers come to you
For shippers
Build a reliable bench of carriers.
- Discover reviewed carriers with trucks near your facilities
- Connect directly with the carriers that serve your lanes
- Get availability shared with you by connected carriers
- Talk to carriers directly — no middle layer inside FR8UP
- Post loads as a supporting option alongside capacity search
Trust and privacy
Reviewed companies
Every company is reviewed by an FR8UP administrator before it can publish or make contact. Review is a manual check, not a guarantee of authority, insurance or safety.
Privacy by default
Truck locations are shown at city level, unit numbers and drivers stay private, and carriers choose what each truck shows. Blocked companies can't see or contact you.
Software, not a broker
FR8UP doesn't negotiate, assign carriers, accept freight or take a cut of any load. Companies agree terms directly with each other.
FR8UP is invitation-only for now.
We're running a small, controlled pilot with invited carriers, brokers and shippers. If you received an invitation, open the link in it to set your password and set up your company. Already set up? Sign in.
